Most of the time, I don't think success can be measured by numbers, and so if we change our expectations (from numerical growth to, like you said, moving along the journey) numbers will not matter so muchStephhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15143997227472384240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10985964.post-1121135020001950792005-07-11T23:23:00.000-03:002005-07-11T23:23:00.000-03:00Steph, I feel like I'm getting a mixed message fro...Steph, I feel like I'm getting a mixed message from ya (not tryin' to be mean). Are you sayin' Numbers is the best measurement of success or only one of many?
A friend of mine has never worked with a numerically successful youth ministry. The largest number of teens he ever had would have been between 20-30. However, I would still say his ministry was successful because to the best of my knowledge when he left the ministry it was further ahead than when he came.
To me that is success, when you bring a church further along in our journey to the Kingdom.Dancin'https://www.blogger.com/profile/00640228280706157465noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10985964.post-1121134926631919152005-07-11T23:22:00.000-03:002005-07-11T23:22:00.000-03:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Dancin'https://www.blogger.com/profile/00640228280706157465noreply@blogger.com
